ENTIDADE PROMOTORA/PARTNER INSTITUTIONS
iMed.ULisboa/FARM-ID, FC, GIMM, NMS
OBJECTIVO PRINCIPAL/MAIN OBJECTIVE
To promote technological progress in spectral flow cytometry by providing access to high-end equipment, expert support, and training for the scientific community in the Lisbon region.
PRIORIDADE/PRIORITY
FLxFlow – Lisbon Flow Cytometry Network (https://flxflow.pt/), established in 2016, is the only Portuguese network fully dedicated to Flow Cytometry (FC) technology. It currently brings together the units from the research centers: Champalimaud Foundation (FC), Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM), Institute for Medicines Research (iMed.ULisboa/FARM-ID), and NOVA Medical School (NMS). The FLxFlow-HDSpect infrastructure will provide access to advanced spectral FC instruments and expand data analysis capabilities, while also optimizing existing spectral FC resources. FLxFlow-HDSpect will therefore promote significant advances in multiple scientific areas, boosting Portugal’s scientific and technological competitiveness at the international level.
