Derek Davies runs the Flow Cytometry Facility at the Francis Crick Institute which has 14 analysers and 9 cell sorters and a staff of 12. He has over 30 years experience in all aspects of flow and image cytometry. He is currently Chair of flowcytometryUK, sits on the Cytometry Committee of the Royal Microscopical Society and is a past Councilor of ISAC, the International Society for the Advancement of Cytometry. He has a great interest in Cytometry education and organises and lectures on several courses per year both in the UK and mainland Europe.
